Falconry Experience

Guests are met at the Hoops Inn Country Hotel in North Devon for coffee and an introduction to the birds at 10 am. Each person is provided with a Harris Hawk and shown the correct way to handle and fly it. We then make our way by Land Rover Discovery to the woods where we fly the birds until lunch time. This part of the experience gives guests the chance to see the hawks working as a hunting team.

We head back to the hotel for 1pm where we are provided with an award winning delicious lunch.

After lunch we head out to nearby stunning cliffs to fly the Peregrines. Each guest will be shown the correct way to swing the lure and have the opportunity to fly the world’s fastest creature. This part of the day is truly breath taking and is something that you will never forget. We are often joined by inquisitive wild Peregrines.

We return for afternoon tea at 4pm.Each guest will receive a certificate.

All birds, equipment, lunch and free photographs are included.
